The following categories of materials sometimes end up in the garbage, but shouldn’t! Click on a waste category to learn how to properly handle such items.
After you reduce, reuse, and recycle all you can, there may be some
materials left over that you’ll need to dispose of. With this in
mind, most of the Recycling Depots the District runs and/or supports
also accept garbage for a fee.
The cost of garbage disposal is $3.50 for each 30 gallon/25lb bag. The additional fee for a larger and/or heavier bag will be determined by the Attendant when you drop it off.
