In order to equitably and efficiently serve our 22 member communties, we have divided the District into sub-regions. Each sub-region will share a fullservice recycling depot.

The sub-regions were developed based on travel time and distance, travel patterns, population density, and geography. There is some flexibility in developing the sites, and local preferences and the ability to locate suitable sites may effect the final sub-region configuration.

We will upgrade at least one existing recycling depot, and other sub-regions are being evaluated for either an upgrade to an existing facility or construction of a new one.

The sub-regions are designed to be flexible and in some instances to overlap. The following is a list of potential sub-regional configurations. There are eight possibilities on this list, although we expect to site seven facilities. We anticipate shifts in the sub-region configurations, but the list gives us a good place to begin.
